Read Colossians 4:5-6.

According to verse 5, how do we walk in wisdom toward outsiders?
(By making the best use of the time we have with them)

What are ways that we tend to waste time with outsiders?
(Only engaging in small talk, never being bold enough to actually talk about eternal things)

What is the command in verse 6?
(Let your speech be gracious, that is, full of grace)

The end of verse 6 says, “so that you [Christians] may know how you ought to answer each person.” What does this verse imply? (That the world is looking to us for answers)

The reality is that Christians have the truth - full access to the truth through Jesus who is the way, and the truth, and the life.

Read 2 Timothy 4:2.

What does it mean to be ready in season and out of season?

This takes discipline; the discipline to prepare, and the discipline to be ready in season and out of season to make the best use of the time that God gives us with unbelievers.

Close by praying that we would be prepared and be diligent to make the best use of our time with unbelievers.
