Prayer of Supplication get_app

Published: April 17, 2020

Supplication is probably the aspect of prayer that we are most familiar with. The Hebrew and Greek words that are most often translated “supplication” in the Bible literally mean “a request or petition.” Therefore, a prayer of supplication is simply asking God for something.

Read Psalm 6.

List the things that David asks for in this prayer.

What does it seem that David’s biggest concern is for in this passage? (Verse 4; that his life be delivered)

Read Matthew 7:7-11.

God wants to give good things to his children, and he wants his children to ask. It is not a bad thing to bring your requests to God.
