The people who had given up everything to follow Jesus were huddled up together, uncertain and afraid of what would happen to them now that Jesus was dead.

Scripture Reading - Matthew 27:62-66

Pilate wanted to make sure that the followers of Jesus did not tamper with his body.

How did his actions prove that Jesus actually rose from the dead?
(Nobody could have gotten in; so, we know that Jesus must have risen from the dead.)

Saturday of Holy Week must have been a very difficult day for the people who were following Jesus. They were supposed to worship, as it was the Sabbath. Do you think that they felt like worshipping?
